A guided reflection for those feeling overwhelmed, overstimulated, or pulled in too many directions.
A Simpler Life invites you to slow down and reflect on what truly matters, and what may no longer need your time, energy, or attention. Inspired by psychological research and philosophical ideas around contentment, priorities, and modern overload, this guided experience helps you gently examine the pace, pressures, and expectations shaping your daily life.
During the experience, you’ll be guided through 10 short, carefully designed reflection exercises. Each exercise offers a different lens — helping you notice competing desires, unhelpful habits, external pressures, and the quiet signals you may have been ignoring. You’ll write your responses privately, in your own time, with space to think honestly and without judgement.
My role as your guide is to introduce each reflection, explain its purpose, and help you make sense of the patterns that emerge. I don’t read or analyse your individual answers.
This reflection is well suited for:
Individuals craving mental space and simplicity
Anyone feeling stretched, busy, or emotionally cluttered
People at a crossroads who want to reduce noise and regain clarity
The experience takes place in a local café in Salthill, with part of the reflection continuing along the Salthill Promenade when weather permits.
Suitable for:
Solo exploration · Two friends · Small groups
