Joy & Excitement is a guided reflection focused on understanding what brings genuine enjoyment, energy, and a sense of aliveness into your life — and what may be quietly diminishing it.
Through 10 structured reflection exercises, you are guided to explore pleasure, curiosity, motivation, and enthusiasm, looking beyond surface-level happiness to understand what truly feels sustaining and meaningful for you. The reflections help you notice patterns around what energises you, what drains you, and how joy tends to appear — or disappear — in everyday life.
You complete the exercises privately and at your own pace, writing your responses for yourself alone. My role is to guide you through each reflection, explain its purpose, and help you understand how to interpret your own insights. I don’t read or analyse your answers, and this experience is not therapy or counselling.
The session takes place in a Salthill café, with part of the reflection continuing along the Salthill Promenade when weather permits.
