Work & Identity is a guided reflection exploring the relationship between who you are, what you do, and how work shapes your sense of self, purpose, and direction.
Through 10 structured reflection exercises, you’ll be guided to examine your work life with greater clarity: the roles you’ve taken on, the expectations you carry, the parts of yourself that feel expressed — and those that may feel constrained or overlooked. The reflections help you notice patterns, tensions, and assumptions that often remain unspoken in everyday working life.
You complete the reflections privately, in your own time, writing for yourself alone. My role is to guide you through each exercise, explain its intention, and help you understand how to interpret your own responses. I don’t read or analyse your answers.
The session takes place in a Salthill café, with an optional walk along the Salthill Promenade when weather permits.
This theme is well suited for:
Individuals questioning direction, motivation, or balance
People navigating career transitions or uncertainty
Anyone whose sense of identity feels overly tied to work
